As a caricaturist in Cumbria, this is more than just another area I work in, it’s home. I grew up just outside Carlisle, and I’ve been working as a Cumbrian caricaturist for over 15 years, providing live drawing and wedding entertainment in Cumbria and the Lake District.
In my younger years, I worked as a postman around Carlisle and the surrounding areas, so I got to know Cumbria inside out. I’ve also spent time working on farms across the county, particularly with cattle, which gave me a real appreciation for the land and the people who work it. There’s something special about Cumbrian people. They might take a little warming up, but once you’re in, you’re in for life.
