Wedding Caricatures at The Hawkhills

I was lucky enough to be invited along by David and Kirsty to their lockdown wedding at an amazing venue in North Yorkshire, we were very lucky to avoid any rain as the wedding had to be held outside, but I don’t think it would have mattered as everyone was having an amazing time. I did a couple of hours of quick fire caricature portraits of the guests during their drinks reception then moved on the main event drawing a large A2 group caricature portrait of all the guests together.. I even had the opportunity to add a couple of lambs and their dog, (did I ment there were lambs everywhere in the grounds? There where lambs everywhere in the grounds!)

The venue itself called The Hawkhills was completely stunning, it's amazing to me that I’ve never been here before as it’s only an hour and half away and apparently it is owned by the cabinet ministry and used for disaster training, however whenever they are not doing that they rent out this beautiful 17th century hall as a wedding venue. So if you think your wedding might end up a disaster look no further as you are going to be in very safe hands!
