Hayley and James invited me along to provide wedding entertainment at South Causey Inn, and it turned out to be one of those days that just reminds me why I love what I do.

Their wedding took place in the Durham Suite, a space I know really well after working as a recommended supplier at South Causey Inn for over 10 years. Stepping In at Just the Right Moment South Causey Inn wedding caricaturist

I joined Hayley and James’s wedding during that classic in-between moment, just as the wedding breakfast was winding down and guests were settling into desserts.

It is a brilliant time for wedding entertainment.

I moved between tables, chatting with guests, sketching away, and creating quick, lively pieces of wedding art that people could take home.

The guests were hilarious, honestly such good fun to draw. There is always a point in the day where people loosen up a bit, and this group fully embraced it. Lots of laughter, plenty of banter, and some brilliant reactions when they saw their caricatures.

That energy spreads quickly, and before long, the whole room is involved.

What I love about providing caricatures in Newcastle and County Durham weddings is that it is not just about filling time, it is about creating moments.
